Brian Hodgson intends to step down as regional rep at the next AGM.
Matters Arising:
Political & Campaigns:
Assisting Trial Riders Federation in campaigning against the banning of Green Laning.
Brian still looking into parking at St Bees and West Cumberland Hospital.
Questions to reps n officers:
Further to Terry’s request to define public liability requirements for organized run outs:
Paul T looked into a report about an actual incident where a club was sued and concluded it was a red herring. No information can be found anywhere.
Regional Report:
Request from Network for reports from Local reps to be sent in. Send to Trevor Baird.
Also reports for Streetbiker on rallys with pictures if possible.
Thinking about bringing in Counter steering when teaching CBT etc.
Accident statistics available on Cumbria mag web site on bike safe section.
Liz Needham has resigned and loads of other people aswell…
We should consider putting out a news letter twice a year.
AGC in on Sat 3rd April 2004 at Durham, Brian’s going if anyone else wants to go.
MAG foundation – Brian wants to find out how much cash is going into it and what they use it for.
Loads of new rallies on web site and stolen bikes.
Local Expansion Plan: Identified Carlisle and Penrith as possibilities for this, and Brian has send the post codes in to central for mail shot asking all members if they want to be a local rep for the area.
Brian unable to get in touch with Claire to find out where I’ve to send our money.

Meetings going well, making progress with the Green Laning campaign. Beginning to organize ride outs, rallies etc. Attendance still good and steady, Paul T looking into getting funding from Neighbourhood Forum for tabards and a notice board.
Furness Report:
